My experience working with Dr. Leah Hughes has been absolutely phenomenal! She has hands down been one of the most knowledgeable & compassionate Doctors I have ever worked with. Several years ago I was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease and was hospitalized for 8 weeks, had numerous infections and received over 250 IV drugs. After completing this course of treatment I still suffered with lingering inflammation & some infectious issues. Dr. Leah evaluated my specific situation, created a comprehensive testing protocol and implemented a short and long term strategy of treatment, most of which I have found extremely tolerable and uses very little drug therapies. Leah is a very detailed oriented and caring practitioner, with a very extensive background from working in the ER and ICU to much smaller functional/integrative practices! With all of her years in medicine, she can hone in on which specific lab work one needs all the way down to basic lifestyle and eating habits.
