Details Of My Approach
-I use a science-based approach.
-I look at complex interactions between human biology, genetics, lifestyle, and environmental factors.
-I take these factors into account and I tailor my approach to your unique needs.
Why Select a Functional/Integrative Practitioner?
A functional nurse practitioner
-
Orders specific tests to provide a clinical picture of your health.
-
Seeks to understand you by doing a deep dive into your history and past health.
-
Carefully assesses lifestyle, habits, and other contributing factors.
-
Takes a patient-centered and directed approach
-
Identifies the root cause of symptoms
Functional and Integrative are often used interchangeably
Both models seek to:
-
Find the root cause.
-
Treat “upstream” causes rather than “downstream” symptoms.
-
Take a patient-centered & patient-driven approach.
Both approaches believe lifestyle habits are major factors in development of disease and are the key to healing.
